VINTAGE "COGNAC RED" GARNET EARRINGS. BIRMINGHAM (ENGLAND) ASSAY. BEAUTIFUL OPENWORK DESIGN 9CT YELLOW GOLD
These vintage earrings are delicate and ornate. Dainty in design but quite noticeable when worn as they have a 33mm drop. They herald from Birmingham, the jewellery quarter of England (hallmarked for the Birmingham assay). The design features two pear faceted genuine "cognac red" garnets totalling 0,68 carats, that have been bezel set into the middle of a pretty filigree openwork design. The colour combination of the red with the yellow of the 9 carat gold is warm and inviting. These earrings will appeal to someone who likes their jewellery real - and vintage in both age and design!
