Vintage Collectable Merrythought Mohair Teddy Bear made in England

 Vintage Collectable Merrythought Teddy Bear.

This Is a good find for collectors. The teddy is in a very good condition for its age of 50 +. the golden yellow plush is woven on a firm linen backing. The distinctive satin Merrythought label that was sewn across the foot pad was cut out but the edges are still visible. A small hole on the other foot reveals the foam rubber stuffing that was used at the time of manufacture. This is an un-jointed Teddy and it is of interest because it is a good example of vintage toys still in a good condition and made by a well known manufacturer
