Vintage collectable Stanwell De Luxe shape 437 smoking pipe

This superior line Stanwell De Luxe volcano-style shape 37is described as a freehand, bent, sitter, oval stem and mouthpiece, designed by the legendary pipe maker Sixten Ivarsson. The pipe has some stunning birds eye mixed with cross grain and is, as far as I can tell, fill free as befits the DeLuxe range. The only blemishes are some minor rim discolouration and light tooth chatter on the stem.

The REGD numbers were aparently discontinued in 1970, so its presence would suggest this pipe predates that year.
