An ivory glazed china octagonal salad or fruit bowl, decorated with polychrome transfer-printed
vignettes of English thatched cottages and floral sprays, hand-painted detail, with EPNS rim.
MARKS:
Stamped in green: Coronet Ware, Parrott & Company, a Parrot, Burslem, Trade Mark and
Made in England. Hand-Written in blue: number 569 and artists mark H. Rim stamped: E.P.N.S.
CONDITION:
No cracks, with overall crazing and some staining, one foot chipped (see close-up image).
Electro-plated Nickel Silver rim with extensive plating loss, tarnishing and pock marks.
DIMENSIONS:
Approximately 23 cm median diameter X 11 cm height.
