Vintage, Cottage Style Ceramic Cruet Set - Salt, Pepper and Mustard
Cute, slightly quirky and wonky this is a ceramic cottage style cruet set consisting of Salt and Pepper shakers and a Mustard pot. At some point there probably would have been a tray they would sit on, but this has probably broken some time during the course of its life.
It is unmarked but looks very similar to other examples made in Japan. However we are unable to confirm this. All three are in good vintage condition with no chips or crazing. It does however have some signs of wear and use consistent with its age. Salt (on the right) measures about 3.5cm X 3cm X 5.5cm, Mustard (middle) measures approximately 4.5cm X 4.5cm X 6cm, and the Pepper (on the left) measures about 4.5cm X 3.5cm X 6cm.
