Vintage Creda plated electric kettle made in England - c1946. It can be seen that this kettle was produced shortly after WW2, as it is made from some type of alloy. In an advert on the internet showing the kettle, it reads "The joy of using Creda electrical appliances has been witheld from many households owing to our wartime activities but large-scale production will be resumed just as soon as labour is available. You can expect new designs giving still better service in your homes". The kettle stands 25cm high (including handle, has a wooden handle and bakelite lid knob). The kettle is old and has wear to the plating and some age dings. It does not have the power cord. Could be refitted with a power cord, or be a lovely display item in your kitchen.
