Info: Beautiful old English Style Tea or Cake Plate.
A really good old English style look and feel to the set, with a charming English floral pattern with yellow flowers and hand painted red petals in relief.
Crown Staffordshire first began producing pottery in 1833 when the Green Family started production at the Minerva works, Stoke-on-Trent.
The Crown Staffordshire name came into being in 1903. Wedgwood became the owner of the Pottery in 1974 and the Crown Staffordshire name was discontinued in 1985 when Coalport production was moved to the Minerva works at that time.
(The EST 1801 on the stamp refers to the Minerva works pottery that started production in 1801.)
Condition: Very Good, no chips, cracks or crazing on the plates, the floral pattern is in very good condition with some fading on the gold trim in places.
