Vintage Daisy 288 air pistol with what looks like a toy rifle scope?

Daisy is not fully functional. When attempting to cock the pistol, the mechanism doesn't fully engage. Selling as is for parts or to restore.

Toy rifle scope? seems to have one glass missing on one end, see pic.
