Vintage Dartmouth Pottery 1953 Queen Elizabeth Coronation Stoneware Mug

A mug tankard to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on June 2nd, 1953 crafted by Dartmouth Pottery of Devon, England.

The mug tankard is made of deep-brown glazed earthenware which makes it highly unique.

The tankard features the Queen's image in raised relief. The date of the coronation, "June 1953", is featured on a scroll below alongside "Elizabeth R".

The handle is sculpted into an ornate shape whilst the base of the mug tankard features a ridged design.

In great condition.
