A cream glazed china soup tureen and cover 'sopkom', issued to commemorate the Great Trek
Centenary, decorated with sepia images of the Voortrekker Monument and ox wagons on trek,
lid border with 'Tafelberg, Spandou Kop, Tarka Berge, Aliwal, Winburg, Vegkop, Trichardt, Drakensberg, Piet Retief, Bloukrans, Chlooma-Amaboetoe, Vegkop-Bloedrivier'.

MARKS:

N.V. De Sphinx, v/h Petrus Regout & Co., Maastricht, is vervaardig in Holland.

CONDITION:

No chips, cracks or crazing, with three cock-spur stilt marks to interior.

DIMENSIONS:

Approximately 26 cm diameter X 19 cm height including lid finial knob.
