Art Deco Vintage Chrome Coffee percolator with Ebony handle - 1950's - A great looking coffee pot

from Universal - Landers, Frary & Clark, made in the USA

There is nothing nicer than a cup of true 'percolated coffee'

Size - 23cm height x 28 cm spout to handle

Excellent condition - All parts are there even electric cord and plug. Handle seated very well. While handle seems to be ebony the button on the lid seems to be plastic, perhaps it was replaced at some point?  

I am selling this as 'voetstoets' - Label on bottom reads: 200/215 volts 400 watts. You cannot see any element. I have tried to heat it and it is not heating up, I am assuming the fuses need replacing, and they are easy to get to at the bottom. or it could be as simple as the plug needs changing / re-wiring.
