Vintage Decorative Bavarian Cabinet Plate with Love Story Artwork


A beautiful hand decorated Bavarian plate featuring a large center medallion showing a Victorian scene of Fragonard's courting lovers against a rich blue background, and smaller Fragonard lovers medallions along the border.

This artwork is overlaid with decorative floral and lattice gilding.


Stamped with the green crowned double "P" Imperial mark of the Porzellanmalerei Parbus studio, Bavaria.


Plate diameter: 19,5 cm
