Vintage Dinky Toys Triumph TR2 by Meccano

A vintage Dinky Toys Triumph TR2 By Meccano Ltd.  Made In England.  This is an interesting one with no series number.  Both the racing (111) and touring (105) editions are known to have examples released without numbers.  What's interesting here is that the blue exterior  and red interior colour scheme was only released as a racing edition.  However, this example has the grey painted "touring" driver.  An intriguing example that definitely demands further research.
