This is a Dual 1019 turntable, one of the iconic models from the golden age of analog audio. Made in Germany, the 1019 is celebrated for its precise mechanics and warm sound quality. This particular unit is mounted in a Type CK 6 base, as indicated on the rear of the casing.
The idler-drive motor powers on and runs, but a full function test for this unit hasnt been done.
The Start / Stop Lever seems to be malfunctioning, sometimes it gets stuck, and other times it jumps out of place when changing the speed.
Internally, the mechanical components appear to be in good condition. The tonearm is complete and comes fitted with a stylus.
Cosmetically, the unit shows its age. The wood veneer casing has visible wear and chipping, especially at the corners. The detachable dust cover is present and functional, but it has a crack at each of the rear corners. Despite this, its still a very attractive piece with great vintage character and high potential.
Key Features:
- Idler-wheel drive with a heavy-duty 4-pole synchronous motor
- Speeds: 33, 45, and 78 RPM

This is a well-designed, collectible turntable with quality construction and audiophile potential. With a little care and calibration, it could become a superb centerpiece in any vintage hi-fi setup.
