THE ORIGINS OF THIS POTTERY CAN BE TRACED BACK TO A POTTERY OPERATING AT CHURCH GRESLEY IN AROUND 1800.  IT WAS RUN BY A SERIES OF MASTER POTTERS OF WHOM ONE WAS 'BOSSY' MASON SO WHEN THOMAS CASH ACQUIRED THE COMPANY IN 1901 HE  KEPT THE NAME MASON.  IN 1941 THE COMPANY CHANGED TO MASON CASH AND CO LTD - ADDED LTD -  SO THIS BOWL IS PRE-1941.  16CM DEEP WITH A TOP DIAMETER OF 29CM IT DOES HAVE SOME 'SPUR' MARKS BUT NO CHIPS OR CRACKS.  A VERY COLLECTABLE MIXING BOWL.      REFER IMAGES
