Rare, vintage Kruger National Park, Nasionale Krugerwildtuin serving tray from the early 1960's. The borders at the time were still Southern Rhodesia and Portuguese East Africa! Nice condition considering its age, some scratching but no dents, holes or cracks. Size is approximately 55 cm x 40 cm. This is a really nostalgic item from a time when the KNP was still something we could be proud of. There were no open fences to Mocambique where our animals were being slaughtered (the genius who made that decision should be locked up), there was far less poaching because poachers were shown no mercy and when shot often buried right on the spot, no questions asked, no silly court cases. You could drive for weeks without seeing a single plastic bag or can on the side of the road.......how things have changed to the worse, amazing. Don't even start to think that all of this will get better, we live in the middle of deepest Africa now.
