Vintage! Early-Mid Century Chinese Satsuma Style Vase.
Exquisitely hand painted golden hued and trimmed Oriental temple jar and lid. Satsuma Style. Made for Temples and the rich and famous. Design is "Moriage", a painstaking technique involving building up areas of enamel to produce a three-dimensional effect, produced in Japan between mid 1800's and late 1900's. In excellent condition.
Material: Pottery clay. Size : 30cm tall x 12.5cm diameter base x 9cm diameter mouth.
