Vintage Enamelware Bucket (Slop pail) & Chamber pot

Slop emmer as we all know it and chamber pot.  these two are extremely old and shows heavy age-related wear.  The bucket also doesn't have the lid.  The Slop Bucket was used to collect discarded, dirty water from morning sponge baths, teeth brushing or shaving basins.  Because moving water in and out of the house require heavy lifting, the bail wire handle allowed housewives' or servant's to easily transport the graywater outdoors to a drainage area.  Chamber pot - kept directly under the bed or inside a commode cabinet.  Chamber pot was a midnight convenience used to avoid walking outside to an outhouse in the freezing cold or dark.
