VINTAGE ENGLISH 9CT WHITE GOLD AND DIAMOND CHEVRON PENDANT. REAL CULTURED PEARL NECKLACE 375

This dainty piece herals from the Jewellery Quarter of England's Midlands, specifically from a vintage jeweller in Birmingham. Very well made, the 45cm long necklace is real cultured pearls, beautiful quality, very round, with a soft creamy lustre. The chevron pendant feature is 9ct white gold, measuring 20mm long x 40mm wide featuring a V-shaped wing studded with 14 x single cut, claw set diamonds adding a bit of bling. A second wing in smooth white gold starts a third of the way along the diamond 'V', joining the pearls on either side. Dangling from the centre of the chevron is a single, round pearl. The necklace weighs 13,73 grams and bears the 375 hallmark indicating 9ct gold as well as 'DIA' indicating authenticated diamonds and (interestingly!) the Africa Mined hallmark for the diamonds. It is well made and elegant. Rather a beautiful vintage piece that is timeless in design.
