This beautiful, colourful piece of vintage jewellery has been crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. Featuring an oval faceted AAA quality 0,80ct tanzanite solitaire in a violet blue, flanked by pink marquise faceted sapphires, 3 on either side, and cupped above and below by a row of small round cut beautiful yellow sapphires, 8 on each row (certified AAA quality, total 1,85 carats). The gemstones are all claw set in yellow gold, on elongated claws; the central tanzanite reaching 6mm above the finger. The shank is slender, broadening on the shoulders to support the 10mm long x 17mm wide ring head, with grooved detailing on the shoulder. The pedigree of the piece is evident in its many hallmarks: the jeweller's signature, the year 2000, the Birmingham Assay mark and 375 indicating 9ct gold. The piece weighs a solid 3.70 grams and sits comfortably and snugly on the finger. It is a particularly splendid and beautiful ring with an incredible eye-catching colour combination that makes this collectable piece of vintage English jewellery, rather special.
