VINTAGE SHANK STYLE HALF ROUND 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING
WITH DIAMONDS SET INTO GROOVED STAR-SHAPE MOTIFS. 375
This pretty piece I obtained from a favourite vintage jeweller in Birmingham; the ring features 4 x small round, single cut diamonds claw set in 9ct yellow gold in the shank style, half round ring. A grooved star-shaped motif around each diamond accentuates the display; the diamond settings are open underneath to allow light through. The star motifs only appear on the front 4,5mm wide half of the piece, and the softly rounded well polished shank narrows under the finger for comfort. The 2,15 gram ring bears the 375 hallmark indicating 9ct gold, the jeweller's signature and the Birmingham Assay mark. The ring would make a lovely wedding ring or a collectable stack ring.
