Vintage Ericsson LM Magneto Telephone: South African Post Office. This old telephone is made of bakelite, and is a wall hanging crank (party line) phone. I think that the phone is 1940's/50's vintage, and were issued by the SA Post Office. Unfortunately the Post Office insignia has worn off (can just see the outline). The phone is complete. The condition is great taking its age into account. Great buy for the collector.
Please note that the postal strike is causing some delays in delivery of parcels. I can offer the service of sending parcels by courier - counter to counter. Small parcels under 5kg cost R 100.00 to send. For larger parcels over 5kg, I will obtain a quotation when requested. Buyers are also welcome to use their own couriers - I will safely package their parcels. I am also prepared to store parcels at no cost for buyers wishing to wait out the strike.
