Vintage extremely rare. Complete set Madonna rare vintage GDR German Democratic Republic 1970s + SEP tea set. Vintage beautiful porcelain.

The German Democratic Republic GDR - 1949 - 1990 was the official name of the East Germany, a state during the Cold War.

Very beautiful 21pc Madonna tea set, large tea pot & lid, sugar pot & lid, creamer, 6 cups, 6 saucers and 6 cake plates/side plates. Please note the cake plates diameter are quite large 190cm in diameter. 

This porcelain tableware is associated with wealth, prestige and romance and its graceful lines and magnificent decoration have long been admired.

Condition:

No chips, no cracks, no crazing and no repairs.

Tea pot including the lid - 235cm h x 220cm w including the handle x 135cm body diameters.

Sugar pot including the lid - 120cm h x 105cm diameters.

Creamer - 110cm h x 115cm w including the handle x 90cm body diameters.

Cups - 110cm w including the handle cm x 75cm h x 80cm body diameters.

Saucers - 140cm d and standing 20mm heigh.
