The vintage Falcon is Classic Australian post war hand tool manufacturing. These are the less common models the F 5-1/2 and F 4-1/2. Falcon Handplanes were introduced just after World War II in 1946, and had ceased manufacture in 1956 - a very short history to be sure. Yet they were an essential part of Australia's post-war development and housing boom.
