This is the real deal for any serious collector of Fleischmann, tin plate or vintage toys! All metal body and chassis, with sliding does that even have little fitted handles. Pick ups for lighting n bogies. Roof is a little scuffed and shorting a screw, see picture. I see the windows tend to slid down, as pictured. turn it upside down and they relocate, so an easy issue to address. this item dates from just after the war. finding one still boxed in this condition is a rarity. The box has a replacement Fleischmann flap one side (depicting a wagon) and the insert has a loose piece, same side.

Regarding price

Thanks to the ever depreciating value of the Rand these items are becoming harder to locate at a reasonable price. The cost to import is increasing almost daily. If you want it, buy it because next time around it may be twice the price.
