Stunning hand painted Hebrew text. The text depicts the Exodus from Egypt. The biblical narrative includes verses from the book of Psalms (Psalm 114) when Israel went forth from Egypt. Such items are often created from the cloth used at a baby boy's circumcision ceremony to bind the Torah scroll in the synagogue. The artwork, contained in a prominent red frame, suggests it is a cherished display item. An excellent addition to your treasured collection or a thoughtful and unique gift for someone special. The frame has a strong and sturdy hanging cord for ease of hanging. In an excellent pre-loved condition.
