VINTAGE FRAMED PRINT OF NEAR EAST. ORIGINAL BY FAMED SCOTTISH ARTIST DAVID ROBERTS RA 1796-1864

A print that someone has committed to framing. It is as photographed

and I think maybe faded. Interesting enough by well known Scottish

artist David Roberts RA.  He is known for his prolific series of

detailed lithograph prints of the Near East and Egypt that he produced

from sketches he made during long tours of the region. He was born

24/10/1796 in Stockbridge Edinburgh and died 25/11/1864 in London

UK. This piece measures with the frame and borders approximately

height 36cm and the length across 47.5cm. The frame has some marks

in the top left hand corner.

As photographed. Very subtle or faded? The print in certain light

has roll bends on it
