Vintage French Styled Rotary Dial Tele ~ The DO-08

Famous in various guises and styles, these phones were made in Japan circa late 50s into the 1960s

This phone has no sticker or marking, but its features are so typical of the Do-08

It presents in a more ostentatious appearance with intricate design to the ABS type material with its faux brass fading in parts

Bakelite make up the hearing and mouth pieces

It was possible to test on an old plug and the phone is fully functional with an opulent, aristocratic bell sound

Various results were achieved when attempting to wire the phone to a newer jack ~ seemingly possible if done by someone with know-how

The round plastic cover for the picture on this phone is missing: nothing that cannot be corrected with some thick transparent plastic and scissors.
