Vintage 50s, G.-B Bell & Howell 624, clockwork powered, movie camera is in an excellent condition and takes standard 8 film and made in England. Comes with two boxed, processed Kodak films and an unused Kodak 8mm film in a Kodak tin.
Launched in 1958, the original design for the camera was created by the Bell & Howell Co. of Chicago U.S.A. and then manufactured in Britain by the Cine and Photographic Division of Rank Precision Industries Ltd in Gloucestershire.
Made of light alloy, with winding handle and footage indicator on the right, spool chamber on the left and starting button on the front. The knob provides for single frames or continuous running.
There is a tripod mount in the base with a standard 1/4 inch Whitworth thread.
The camera measures at about 10cm in length, 6cm in width and about 14.8cm in height.
