VINTAGE GALLOTONE PHONOGRAPH/GRAMOPHONE

In working condition - Model 220

This is a Gallotone portable gramophone or phonograph, likely from the 1940's.

It is in a working condition. The winding mechanism, speed adjustment and brake works and it produces sound.

Keep in mind though that it may require a bit of a service or tinkering with to sound as it should. The swivel head is slightly loose and it may be affecting the sound quality.

Cosmetic condition is fairly good and it appears to be complete, with no damage apart from everyday wear and tear. The outside of the case shows some wear on the edges and corners and one of the catches is broken.

We have not tried cleaning, fixing or restoring anything, so it could do with a good cleaning and polishing of the chrome parts.

The gramophone measures 41cm x 31cm x 17cm.
