Two superb vintage Navajo American Indian sterling silver bracelets. The wider one is stamped "CJ Najavo," which is the mark of well-known Navajo jewellery-maker Joe Corbett, while the narrow one is unstamped.
The wider bracelet features stunning engraving with a pattern of embedded turquoise and coral chips - no pieces missing! It is 18mm wide, and measures 60mm across at its widest point (suitable for a woman with smaller wrists).
The narrow bracelet features a beautiful centre-section inlaid with turquoise, mother-of-pearl and coral - also in perfect condition! It also measures about 60 across, but it can be bent to fit a larger wrist as it is flexible.
Both are from the same person, so the second bracelet is also possibly made by Joe Corbett. Although not hallmarked, both do test as sterling silver (which is commonly used in Navajo jewellery). Together they weigh 34 grams.
