VINTAGE GEOMETRIC DESIGN PENDANT ON
9CT YELLOW GOLD CHAIN. BEAUTIFUL WORKMANSHIP.  

This piece is really well made; the quality of the workmanship and the weighty solid design of the pendant makes a classy and elegant piece of jewellery. The pendant is a slim rectangle, 20mm long x 55mm wide x 3mm thick, with 18 beautifully faceted sparkling stones. The stones are not diamonds, but they have been set with such professional care, they had me fooled. The chain is hallmarked for 9ct but the pendant is not hallmarked. I bought it in England (from Birmingham in the Jewellery Quarter) and it was sold to me as 9 carat gold but can't be sure at all about the pendant. Please keep that in mind when bidding. I am always wary of pieces that don't bear hallmarks! The whole piece is in excellent condition with very few buff marks or indications of wear, even on the corners. The dainty snake chain bears many hallmarks including 375 for 9 carat, the jeweller signature and the London assay. Interestingly, the pendant is not a removable piece - the chain was inserted through the pendant as if the two were created together. Lovely on, the 5 gram pendant hangs well and has a reassuringly solid feel to it. Classy, understated and beautifully made - a solid piece of vintage jewellery!
