Vintage German Beer Stein

This early German beer stein from Salzburg has a pewter and china lid, decorated with flowers and the word ‘Salzburg’. It has the wording ‘ Mässig trinken, Lieder singen, half von je zu guten Dingen’ on the front, which translated means ‘Drinking moderately, singing songs, always helped with good things’. The stein is in excellent condition and measures 18cm in height and a base diameter of 9.5cm.
