Vintage Gilded Pink, Red, Brown and White Small Chinese Oriental Asian Porcelain Tea Bowl VG

An exceptional Oriental porcelain handleless tea cup with a floral decoration in rich tones of pink, red, and brown on a white ground. The whole accented in gold, with gilded rim, standing on a circular foot. This vessel is painted by hand with wispy, well-defined application of a brush throughout and one of the very best examples of creating a pattern without it being typically obvious as a pattern but rather a composition that has a rhythm thanks to the swirling and dynamic brush strokes. An iron red stamped seal mark to base.

Measures: 4.6 cm height, 9 cm diameter across the top.

Condition: Excellent. The body and decoration of the cup are in outstanding condition. Age appropriate minimal micro wear. Normal minor wear on the foot of the cup.

Returns. I gladly accept returns in the unlikely event that you are not thrilled with your item. You get a full refund of the purchase price up until the end of day 7 of receiving your order. Simply return the item to me in its original condition, shown in photos. The cost of returning the item using a door-to-door courier service is buyer's responsibility. Delivery or postal charges are non-refundable.

Delivery. I will dispatch your item on the next day after a cleared payment has been credited to my account by Bobshop. Please allow 2 business days for the funds to roll over. The tracking number will be messaged to you on the day of dispatch.

• PostNet to PostNet R120.00 -- Your item will be delivered within 2 to 3 working days to your preferred PostNet branch to collect at your convenience. PostNet will SMS you to collect your parcel. Transit times are based on working days, and exclude weekends or public holidays.

Force Majeure. Although not a common case, over the lockdown period irregularities in delivery services can occasionally happen. In these circumstances I will appoint an alternative service provider to ensure that your parcel arrives safely on time. Any delays or irregularities in delivery that may occur would be relayed to you so that you are kept fully informed of the progress of your parcel.

Mint Condition implies that the item is brand new and has never been used, which is rarely the case with historical items. Normal wear and tear, imperfections and crazing as consistent with age should be expected and are a marker of a genuine antique/vintage item. These imperfections do not affect the value of quality items and, in fact, in many cases add to the to its historical character for seasoned collectors. Near Mint Condition or Excellent Condition or rare antiques are typically offered for a higher price. The size of a piece bears no relation to its value.

• The purchase is to be completed within 7 days. I reserve the right to cancel orders from buyers who have not completed their transaction during that period and relist the item for sale.
