This is a beautiful vintage gold tone mirrored lipstick holder with porcelain decorated with a scene of a bird perched amongst blossoms. It dates from the 1950's to 1960's.

It is in an excellent vintage condition with no rubbing to either the gold tone or the porcelain decoration and the colours are still fresh and vibrant.

All the hinges and clips are in a good working condition and the mirror is intact and undamaged.

This piece is not marked however it is quite safe to assume that it was made in Japan as we have another example of this type of lipstick holder that is marked. It measures approximately 5.7 cm X 3.2 cm X 2.7 cm.
