Vintage Gold Tone Lord Patent Acorn Key Ring Made in Italy c1940

This vintage, and very collectible key ring was made in Italy in the 1940s. It is made from a gold tone metal and an early plastic, probably Lucite.  It is marked 'Lord Patent' as well as 'Made in Italy'. Although key rings from this maker can be found online, they are exceptionally rare and thus quite desirable. It is of a high quality and superb craftsmanship.
