The vase is a vintage green glass swung vase. This style of vase was popular in the mid-century era, particularly the 1960s.
The vase is made of glass and has a light green tint, typical of some "Depression green glass" which can glow under UV light (indicating the presence of uranium or cadmium). It is a tall, slender bud vase designed to hold a single stem or a small cluster of flowers.
It has a wider, heavier base that is clear with a distinctive "crackle" texture, and the colour graduates up the body. The top edge is flared and features a decorative, ruffled or fluted rim.
The "swung" style is achieved during production by pulling or stretching the hot glass to create its height and elegant, slightly twisted or draped silhouette.
In excellent vintage condition with no damages.
