DESCRIPTION:

An ivory china sixty eight piece part dinner service in the Regina 2 pattern,
each piece decorated with a hand-painted burgundy and over stamped geometric
floral gilt border. Set comprises: 12 X dinner plates, 9 X entrée plates,
11 X side plates, 12 X soup bowls, 10 X dessert bowls, 1 X sauce boat,
1 X sauce boat under plate, 1 X medium meat platter, 2 X large meat
platters, 3 X vegetable serving tureens and lids, 1 X vegetable
serving tureen with no lid and 2 X salad serving bowls.

MARKS:

Stamped in green: Crown, Cream Petal, Sailing ship within a shield,
Grindley within a ribbon and England. Stamped in gilt: Regina 2.

CONDITION:

All pieces in a vintage used condition with scratches and gilt loss commensurate with
age and utilitarian use. Two dinner plates with stained crazing and hairlines, two entrée
plates, three side plates, two large meat platters and one tureen each with a rim chip,
one dessert bowl with a stained hairline.

Dinner plates approximately 25cm in diameter, entrée plates 23cm, side plates 17.5cm,
soup bowls 20cm X 4cm in height, dessert bowls 16cm X 3cm, sauce boat 20cm in length X
8cm in width X 10cm in height, under plate 20cm in length X 14cm in width, medium meat
platter 30cm X 25cm, large meat platters 36cm X 30cm, tureens 23cm in diameter X 25cm
across handles X 10cm in height, serving bowls 24cm X 26cm X 7cm.
