Vintage Guernsey Copper Milk or Cream Pot.

This quirky copper cream pot has such a delightfully rounded shape.
Pots such as these are native to the copper smiths of the dairy farming isle of Guernsey and are quite the collector's items.
It would have traditionally been used to hold milk or cream and probably dates to around the 1920s.
It is not stamped, not does it have a makers mark.
Despite its the dents it has acquired over the years it is still such an endearing little artifact and the dents, if anything, add to it's rustic farm house patina.
An eye catching decorative item. Display it in the window of a country cottage.
It must be noted that the the cord that binds the rattan handle has worn quite thin and is very delicate, and the rattan is damaged and parts of it are missing.
