Vintage Gurkha Kukri Presentation Dagger. Sterling Silver Scabbard.

A fine quality Nepalese khotimora (kukri or khukuri with a silver scabbard).  The grip is of horn with brass mounts.  Complete with silver-mounted red velvet covered scabbard. The silver filigree work on the scabbard is embossed with crossed Kukris (the badge of the Brigade of Gurkhas).  The blade is in extremely good clean condition. Complete with its two small accompanying skinning / honing knives.  The scabbard is inscribed "Presented by Moti and Ganga".  The Khotimora is often presented to retiring Gurkha officers.  Please see thumbnail pics above for more detail.
