FROM MY HOUSEHOLD
VINTAGE HALL TABLE WITH ORNATE LEGS AND 1 LONG DRAWER
Again, I am not sure of the wood, probably Oak, but the table has such character and could be an Afrikaner piece. It's a narrow table so perfect for a hallway or an office. The legs are gorgeous, has great handles which could have been a later addition.
Length 108 cm, width 54cm, height 76cm
Condition. Very good, however, has issues - the top has cracks running across it and is clearly warped. I bought it like this over 25 years ago because I liked it anyway and I'm sure it's probably gotten a little worse over those years. The drawer was completely un-usable and rotted away so I sent it away for a new bottom piece and now it's not running smoothly and causing the drawer to stick. (Can nothing ever be done properly?) You have to wiggle it to get it in again. It is still a delightful table.
