Vintage Hammered Copper Pitcher & Stand

Vintage copper pitcher crafted from solid hammered, dimpled copper. It has a large spout and stands very steadily.   It has a tapered body and a distinctive handle, attached with rivets.

These items often originate from the previous Rhodesia or sometimes India.

This item comes with a hand-made 3-footed stand, which could also have been a decorative incense holder or burner, likely made of copper and featuring sunburst engravings.

The pitcher measures 25 cm x 21cm (across the spout and handle) x 16cm (base). It weighs about 650g.

The stand measures 18cm in diameter x 3cm in height. It weighs 300g.

They both need a polish but are otherwise in very good condition. There is some verdigris present.
