Vintage Hand Carved & Hand Painted Wooden Horse -  Indian Wedding Horse

These figurines are typically from India, associated with traditional Indian weddings, representing a Ghodi (mare).

Many of these vintage items date back to 1930s & 1940s, therefore show signs of age and wear, including chipped paint, darkened varnish, which adds to their character.

The wooden head is mounted on the neck, and age has dried the wood, which in turn has opened the joint about 2mm, not detracting from this beautiful decor piece.

Measurements: 26cm L x 7.5cm W x 28cm H
