THIS IS AN VINTAGE POSSIBLY ANTIQUE INDO ISLAMIC COPPER HOOKAH BASE VASE. BEAUTIFULLY HAND ENGRAVED WITH DRINKING AND DANCING AND FLORAL SCENES.
HOOKAH IS A SINGLE STEMMED CONTRAPTION USED for vaporizing and smoking flavored tobacco. During the session, the vapor or smoke is passed through a water basin most often glass-based but in previous times metal-based before inhalation. Hookah is also known as narghile, argileh, shisha, hubble-bubble, shisha and goza. Although India is the country where hookah really took off hookah was invented in Persia.

CLEARLY HANDMADE AND OF VINTAGE POSSIBLY ANTIQUE AGE. HANDETCHED SCENES AND HANDHAMMERED JOINT IS CLEARLY VISIBLE.
