HAND MADE PORCELAINE DOLL - 26cm

Has Makers Mark as shown in the photographs, possibly German Maker?.

My knowledge on doll collecting is limited so I will try and discribe this beautiful doll as best I can. I do know about porcelaine - this doll is finished in a bisque porcelaine with hand painted facial features - colours are still good and beautiful blue eyes and light brown painted hair.

Body is soft, filled and intact. The cloth used to make the body is in very good condition without any damage. The linen used to make the under garments are made of a very old linen which as become threadbare - might give a collector a sign of the age of this doll. The doll has a similar linen nappy...see photo's. The bonnet and clothes are of a Voortrekker style and fashion - these is still in good condition with only some minor damage. Please keep in mind that this is a used and well loved doll, the clothes do have some dirty marks and small nicks. The Porcelaine is free of any damage and fully intact with the general overall condition being good and will make for a nice collectors item. Please feel free to ask any questions.
