VINTAGE HEAVY GOLD (9ct) AND NATURAL GARNET RING FROM ENGLAND. VERY DIFFERENT DESIGN!
I fell for this ring when I found it in England. It is so different to the modern day designs you see in the shops today. The garnets are all natural with a goal of 0,36 carats. They are a good deep claret colour. What attracted me to the ring was the setting. There is a lot of gold (hallmarked 375, which is 9 carat) that has been used to create an interesting natural affect on the ring head. The interwoven lattice design has the look and feel of a being a real gold nugget! I can't see all the hallmarks very clearly due to its age (see photographs). Being a seriously vintage piece, there is wear and tear on the ring visible around the shank of the ring.
