Vintage Large Sturdy Handmade and well made Fishing Reel.

Weighs just over 2kgs, is 215 mm in diameter and 80mm wide. Made what looks like aluminium with a brass attachment.

The gentleman from whom I got the reel, told me that it was handmade by his father many years ago and he used the reel to catch crocodiles in Rhodesia and sharks at the sea. It is sturdly made. Some pitting in the aluminium can be seen in the photos. A classic in its own right.

Heavy - signed for postage in SA, at buyers own risk, will be R50.
