Mechanical/wind-up alarm clock. The casing is made like a small book, with a spine that has the gold lettering LIVRE D'HEURES.  The outer is blue leather. The clock pops into position as soon as the front cover page is opened-up; and the clock controls are accessible by bending the spring-loaded rear cover page.  Alarm function works . The dial is marked Helveco  7 jewels. . Rear side of clock body is embossed:  SWISS MADE; and has the gold inscription: Mod. Déposé - Made in Switzerland.
