This is a porcelain display plate from The Heritage Collection Huguenot Royale titled "Man With The Golden Helmet". This picture on the full colour transfer ware plate is taken from a Rembrandt Van Rijn (1609-1669) painting. Painted in 1652, this is one of Rembrandt's many masterpieces of portraiture. The richness in contrast between the thickly painted helmet and the thickly painted face is emphasized. The plate measures 19 cm in diameter and stands about 1,5 cm off the table.

This item is preowned and in good condition. There appears to be a crack in the glaze on the back of the plate. Please view images as part of description. Welcome to combine items.
