Vintage Hermle West Germany (1949-1990) Quartz Brass Mantle Clock with Torsion Pendulum and Moon Phase

A HERMLE MADE IN WEST GERMANY (1949-1990) QUARTZ BRASS MANTLE CLOCK.

IT HAS A TORSION PENDULUM AND MOON PHASE DIAGRAM.

It is powered by one AA-size battery, but regrettably is not powering up after inserting batteries hence not working.

The Torsion Pendulum rotates about the vertical axis of the wire, twisting it, instead of swinging like an ordinary pendulum.

CONDITION: BRASS FRAME HAS LITTLE PATINA BUT OVERALL GOOD CONDITION I WOULD SAY. REGRETTABLY THE BATTERY UNIT WAS TESTED WITH A BATTERY AND IS NOT POWERING UP. NOT WORKING.
